A Century of Celebration
The Coco Plum Woman's Club is a historic women's organization located at 1375 Sunset Drive in Coral Gables, Florida.
Founded in 1912 with just eight members, the club was named after the local cocoplum fruit.
Its Mediterranean Revival clubhouse, designed by Howard & Early and constructed by the Kinight Construction Company, was built in 1926.
Over the decades, the club has served the community in various capacities, including as a library, social venue, clinic, and preschool.
The club was particularly active during the World Wars, with its Red Cross efforts in World War II earning praise throughout Florida.
Today, the historic clubhouse is used as a reception hall, hosting private events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.

Rosie has impacted the South Florida event scene for over 11 years, with her attention to detail, friendly personality and incredible team. She has coordinated over 350 events and has transformed The Coco Plum Design & Catering to what it is today.
Fernando Smaniotto’s wide-ranging Latin repertoire and strong, ingredient driven style finds full expression in the latin inspired menus at The Coco Plum. Smaniotto’s brand of casual taverna cuisine has impressed our guests for years, earning The Coco Plum a reputation as one of the finest dining experience in Coral Gables. With The Coco Plum catering service available onsite and offsite, Fernando loves to feed not only his guests but members of our community! It will be love at first tasting.
